This PDF is a partial example of the special football section I was responsible during football season. The section contained four pages, one for each of the three local high school teams along with a page for other football news. I was solely responsible for the content and layout of these pages. This included writing three extra stories on top of the 10 stories expected of me each week, completing all four layouts, and using the photos I took at the previous week's games in order to showcase current pictures of the team and their most recent opponent.

This PDF is what a normal sports page would look for our paper. We could only afford a certain number of pages to be color, and so usually the sports pages were in black and white. I was responsible for mixing my own stories along with other outside articles our readers would be interested in. The main story would always have a photo with it and is illustrated in this page.

This PDF is an average depiction of what my sport pages would look like. Space was limited due to advertisements and the constraints of the paper itself, so I combined my main story with an attention grabbing photo while adding in other newsworthy content from outside publications.
